Tell me about yourself.
I major in economics, and my minor is statistics. I enrolled in the fall of 2018, and I will graduate in June 2022. I like to read and also happen to run a blog on the latest market trends. For my blog, I conduct research on different economic trends as they happen and assess their impacts. Then, I break down such information and write articles on the same. While many may consider me an amateur in the field of market research analysis, I believe that I am developing a deep affection for the field. Also, currently, I am an intern as a data analyst, which adds to my quest to become a market research analyst.
Why are you interested in working for our company?
One of the informal mantras of your company is to ‘get it before anyone else gets it.’ I have noticed the mantra be actualized in the technological advancements you happen to conjure as well as in the market information you happen to put out. You have been a trendsetter, and I have seen markets bend in ways that match your predictions. I believe that your company is at the forefront in the industry information-wise. Having such a reputation is indeed crucial, especially considering the competitors in the industry. So, I wish to learn under your tutorship and become a part of the movement.
How has your experience (and/or education) prepared you for this job?
One of the biggest things that my education has offered me is assessing and seeing things from the third or fourth angle. In this field, this ability is quite key. Determining or developing trends is not limited to what is visible to the naked eye. One has to see what others are not seeing. One has to notice the factors that are likely to cause a difference in the projected results. My education has taught me that nothing is as it seems, especially when addressing the markets.
