In the past few months, the Firm has lost many clients due to the perception that it needs more original ideas. It is therefore critical to address this situation with the element of urgency it deserves, to gain and preserve current clients, and to help the Firm recruit, train, and motivate top creative talent. In regard to this, I am offering three suggestions to address the perception that the Firm needs more original ideas. These include having digital fluency and expertise, striving for a high rank on search engines, and seeking a wide mastery of client data.
Digital fluency and expertise mean meeting clients' needs across all digital platforms, from social media to television and print media (Pandey et al., 2020). Most people spend a lot of time on digital platforms, looking for desired content, researching, or comparing data. Having strong digital fluency and expertise will ensure that the Firm keeps up to date with recent technology and reaches a wide network for the benefit of the clients (Pandey et al., 2020). Successful firms have a track record of driving massive sales and connections in the digital world. In this regard, the Firm should target to recruit people who are highly conversant with the digital space and application of various digital services such as SEO and website development.
