The video is an incident command system (ICS) scenario training. Officers from different agencies respond and offer emergency support to varying scenarios through the film. After each procedure, the video explains the various aspects of integrated response. Usually, the first unit from any agency will be in command for the complete answer. Therefore, all the subsequent teams arriving at the scene will receive or seek direction from the commanding unit. However, there is a need to transfer command to the most appropriate agency whenever they arrive at the scene. This ensures proper communication between the different agencies and avoids any complications during the response process.
Moreover, before agencies leave the scene, it is expected to report to the command and affirm that their responsibilities are fulfilled. Depending on the nature of the situation, mutual aid talk groups can be requested and assigned.
