Share either (a) an experience you had in which you took part in resolving an organizational problem or (b) a current problem you are facing in your organization.What was the shared purpose of the group, and how could an understanding of this shared purpose help group members work toward a positive outcome?
The group's shared purpose was to implement a human resource information system (HRIS) that would centralize human resources and payroll management. The system would support human resource management with details on employee information, but users need to be informed about the need for changes and be trained on its use. The group members were expected to work together before and during the implementation of the HRIS project that required data entry, tracking, and management to support human resources. Centralizing the human resources operations was also one way to improve productivity.
What channels of communication were present in the organization? Were they effective? Why or why not?
The main communication channels are verbal and written communication, where verbal communication helped coordinate with the team members and solve problems. Written communication is easy to preserve where there is a record of the project team members' evidence. While the members were not present when some of the documents were written, they could access the documents at any time.
