American High SWOT Analysis

What professor wants: Ideas from first SWOT analysis for sure. Swot analysis just needs to be bullet point list where the line starts off with a verb—the threats section has that element. Overall, just edit/revise and put into bullet points. Transfer the content into a Canva design bc the instructions say “aesthetically pleasing” so if you look at the example from BB in the folder that can give an idea for how to assess each section.

this is what I have done so far:
Strengths- Because not many people know about them, they can scope out what is trending in order to produce films that their target audience can relate to; TikTok is one the best performing platforms in American High’s portfolio, Instagram is the other better performing platform for American High, with over 14K followers,
Weaknesses- Smaller film company compared to other film companies like Netflix who are some of the biggest competitors in the film industry; lacking in promotional efforts on social media (facebook, twitter, and youtube specifically); low revenue due to lack of popularity;
Opportunities- Could potentially collaborate with Hulu on a film since they are partnered with them; Since they are based out of Syracuse, attending more local film festivals could be a way to get their name out there;
Threats- identifying content, assessing how they can foster a community, increasing viewership (industry is very competitive), variety of content (lack of), high marketing expenses are needed, Customers have a variety of firms (disney+, netflix, HBO, etc) to pick from that offer movie services before spending their money;
