This paper talks about Tesla automotive, a company dealing with manufacturing and selling vehicles in the international market. The paper focuses on market opportunities and expansion.
The trends in Tesla vehicles began with model S, a four-door full-size sedan delivered in June 2012. It was introduced with a large touchscreen driver interface, autopilot hardware, over the air software update, and fast charging. It was followed by model X, a mid-size SUV with a capacity of up to seven adults delivered in September 2015. It was introduced with unique falcon-wing doors and an all-glass panoramic windshield. Model 3, which was a four-door mid-size sedan, was delivered in July 2017 with a rare-wheel and dual-wheel drive variants. Then later comes model Y produced in January 2020. It has a capacity of seven adults and is offered in dual-motor all-wheel drive. There is still work going on as the company is looking forward to introducing electric vehicles.
Tesla market and sell vehicles directly to customers through website and international network of company-owned stores. In some states, the company has opened galleries to educate customers about the products.
