Our attention has been drawn to twitter hash tag #FireChadAleo that has attracted a lot of negative publicity and attention to the company’s name. The company has invested so much on its reputation and public image that events like this undermine years of hard work and sacrifices by company employees to make it what it is today. By attracting this kind of negative publicity, we risk losing everything that we stand for as well as the strides we have made in being a dominant brand in the market.
Following our employee performance contract agreement, you are receiving this Memo of Warning because of your misconduct in the public that has painted the company in a bad light, something that has gone against our principles as an organization. You were counselled regarding your gambling addiction on 12th January 2019. To date, there has been no marked improvement in the habit. To the contrary, you have continued to gamble using company products in public spaces, something that has also reduced your performance in the last couple of weeks. Your addiction to gambling has been a major cause of your poor performance.
Effective immediately, you are expected to stop your gambling activities and dedicate your time and full concentration at work. Failure to demonstrate immediate and sustained improvement in these areas may result in further corrective action, up to and including dismissal.
