Answer 1
In my opinion, Rachel, the project manager, has effectively spent her day. Project management provides individuals with appropriate tools that enable them to improve their ability to plan, manage, and implement activities so that they can achieve specific objectives (Larson & Gray, 2021). In other words, it is results-oriented, and a project manager should build and sustain collaborative relationships with others to get things done correctly and within the stipulated deadline. In particular, Rachel is among the first ones to report to her office before co-workers and project team members. That shows that she is devoted to undertaking her duties well. Since the previous day Rachel left her office early to visit a client’s site, the first thing she does is check her voice mail, notes, and emails (“A Day in the Life,” 2017). After reviewing her to-do list for that day, she responds to messages that needed urgent attention. As such, Rachel prioritizes project deadlines, and she is time-conscious.

Rachel also socializes with others to know what is happening around her. She has effective interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. Her personality and interpersonal skills make her approachable (Jena & Satpathy, 2017). Additionally, Rachel is flexible and knows the importance of proper time management.
Rachel does not spend office hours gossiping but waits during lunchtime or when she is free. She gives herself and others enough time to respond to problems. Rachel takes short breaks when necessary to ensure that she can focus on her duties entirely. The individual explores ways of getting appropriate equipment and resources to enhance the success of the project. In her calendar, Rachel has scheduled all her daily tasks, which is why she is never late for an appointment or meeting. When a new software package is introduced, the person takes to discuss it with others so that they can understand how to use the program optimally (Liu & Chiu, 2016). Rachel follows up to make sure that existing issues are solved. For instance, she followed up with John to ensure that the original project scope is followed since there was a potential problem where a client had added specific features not initially in the list of deliverables.
Notably, the project manager spent her effectively by ensuring that all projects are on the right track. Rachel listened to her team members carefully to ...
