The mission statement of Etsy is re-imagining commerce. The website of Etsy emphasizes community, thoughtfulness, and creativity. These themes indicate the sustainability efforts of the company. Thus the mission statement of Etsy is to strive for thoughtfulness, community, and creativity to reimagine how artists around the world can conduct commerce.
The competitive strategy of Etsy is broad differentiation. The company concentrates on homemade products and craft goods. The company does not have a limited target for its market. Consumers can also set up retail stores and become sellers of Etsy. People can be able to find products on the website of Etsy and buy too. Etsy Company is very unique.
PESTEL Analysis
Etsy renews its certification after two years because the company is incorporated in New York. Etsy is also required to maintain its status as a certified B corp by following the laws of Benefit corporations and following environmental laws (Wright, 2017). The company also keeps a note of the political climate concerning shipping and postal services. Etsy promotes environmental awareness in the community.
