Zappos, through its employees, interacts directly with the community through a joint collaboration with a number of charitable organizations to address issues related to poverty, cancer research, and education (Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative University of New Mexico, n.d). Notable organizations that have partnered with Zappos include Goodie Two Shoes and Venture for America. Through Goodie Two Shoes, Zappos has been able to provide free shoes and socks for needy children (Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative University of New Mexico, n.d). Venture for America partnered with Zappos in The Downtown Project to facilitate new college grads, a 2-year period to set up businesses in Las Vegas (Groth, 2012).
