Social media is an essential communication tool in contemporary businesses. Through social media, businesses can market their products and reach customers. As social media users continue to rise, businesses such as fast-food restaurants can significantly benefit from social media use. There are diverse best practices that can be applied when a fast-food restaurant utilizes social media to communicate. As a worker within the business, I will ensure that all aspects of effective business communication are included to enhance effectiveness and present the brand appropriately (Kotler & Lee, 2008).
