The team will have to grapple with stiff competition from Yum brands of Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut, who are well established in the China market. Also, the team will need to identify great locations very fast and hire a lot of staff, which will mean non-stop travel and engaging hundreds of people in a short period, which is almost unattainable.
Nick’s startup experience will help him adapt to change and uncertainties. Startups usually have small teams, and while one has a defined job description, you end up wearing many hats in the process.
