The Four Gospels Are the Four Gospels Intertwined with One Another?
When it comes to citations and narratives, the texts of the three synoptic gospels often coincide pretty well with one another in terms of language and sequencing. The vast majority of experts believe that the close agreement that can be found between the synoptic gospels may be traced to direct or indirect documentary reliance. This means a source from which each synoptic gospels acquired their respective texts. Each of the four gospels presents a story that is essentially the same but is somewhat different. Everyone asserts that Jesus is the Messiah, who will bring all of God's promises found in the Hebrew Bible to fruition. It is generally agreed that the Gospel of Mark is the first one written. The book of Matthew begins with a series of genealogies that feature recurring themes that link the Old and New Testaments.
The stories of Abraham and Sarah are to be read with Zacharias and Elizabeth in the book of Luke. This idea appears again and again throughout Luke's body of work. The characters in the book written by Luke are frequently based on those found in the Old Testament. Each of the four gospels begins with an introduction to Jesus. When they started writing the introductions to their gospels, all four authors had the same objective: to explain who Jesus is and why his story is significant.
