"You Can Lead a Horse to Water But You Can't Make Him Edit: Varied Effects of Feedback on Grammar Across Upper-Division Business Students" by Theresa Wilson, William Provaznik, and Nancy Pigeon portrays employers' dissatisfaction with business writing skills of college business students. Researchers conducted a study to investigate the efficacy of different multi-draft contexts to decrease grammatical errors of students' final submissions (Wilson, Provaznik, & Pigeon, 2018). Wilson and colleagues' research method involved conducting surveys of 96 business students who were required to submit multi-drafts of their business writing for improvements before final submission. The findings of the article reveal that grammatical errors in business writing reduced as the number of drafts increased. For example, students who submitted two drafts before their finals were able to rectify their papers based on the instructor's comments. As such, they successfully submitted error-free final papers. Consequently, business students can eliminate grammatical errors in their business writing by coming up with drafts and improving them by adhering to their instructors' comments.
