President Joe Biden announced his American Families Plan with a budget of 1.8$ trillion that would provide a U.S worker paid medical and family leave, which would greatly help workers this day of the pandemic.

* The paid leave will provide workers a partial wage in exchange for bonding with their loved ones, taking care of someone with a serious ailment, domestic violence, and stalking, seeking safety for sexual assault, dealing with a loved one's deployment in the military or to take time to deal with a family member death
* Because many COVID 19 cases are still in flux, this program has been made to act as a rescue package for Americans.
* Given all the perks, the program will also ensure bereavement leave per year starting year one (1) for three days.
* The paid family and medical leave will guarantee twelve (12) weeks of paid parental, personal, and family illness or safe leave by year ten (10) of the said program

The American Families Plan would benefit any struggling workers because of personal and family problems, or even that they don't have a problem. They can still use this leave to spend time with their family. Also, because of the ongoing pandemic, more and more workers need this pay left to spend or care for their families and loved ones. Worker's voice is heard in this program, which is why it is enacted by the President. The President pushes to enact this program to give U.S workers some free time to take care of their personal and family problems.

How does this article help you think about what you might advocate for in the future? Would you want to see this policy expanded or changed?

Because being a working parent is a tough job, balancing working time and family time is hard, so this kind of program made by the government is very much needed of the common people. This program helps me think about what other ways I can help struggling families, what are the other factors that I can health them like socially, mentally of physalis. This program is good as it is, but I want to see this government's program offer more qualifications for a paid leave, and of course, those reasons must be valid and reasonable.
