1. What were the realities the symposium worked on?
The symposium focuses on ransomware, large-scale infrastructure, and ecology. There is an analysis and discussion of the 2021 DarkSide ransomware that targeted pipelines in the U.S., and there was a ransom payment. The topic is then linked to large-scale infrastructural projects and how such projects need the people, the environment, and technology to provide solutions. Like other projects, investment in large-scale technologies is evaluated considering the return on investments and the costs and benefits to the community. However, the growing risk of ransomware is a concern as this disrupts technology and infrastructural projects. Architects can also create healthy environments when they adapt the buildings focusing on sustainability. Finally, there is a need to consider how the infrastructure affects the landscape in the design and construction of buildings. 
2. What are the main concepts and theories that were mediating in the mobilization of those realities from the perspective of the different disciplines that were represented in the symposium?
IT-based projects are some of the most vulnerable to attacks in the U.S., yet they are part of critical. There is increased focus on technology solutions in the digital era, but technology loss affects the ecosystem, and more energy is required to power technology.
