The article titled ‘Newark airport supervisors form nation’s first managing group to lobby for the changes at TSA was published in New Jersey real-time news April 27, 2011by Steve strunsky. It is one among a series of articles by various news papers concerning the ever-increasing inefficiency at Newark liberty international airport. This comes as a result of the events leading former Bonn Powell quitting as the director of TSA. He was replaced by Donald Drummer. The article talks about efforts by TSA supervisors and managers formulating policies to meet their goals. According to the article their goal is to see to it that managers as well as supervisors do their job well and security in the airport is enhanced.
However the sentiments of this article towards reforms are not satisfactory. The managers and the supervisors argue that they are on the road to making reforms in the agency.
