Article Critique Instructions:

Please use the attached for example and use that format.
To begin 2. Appraise each resource using the "Rapid Critical Appraisal Checklists," available int he textbook appendix. The specific checklist you use will be determined by the type of evidence within the resource.t
Develop a research table to organize and summarize the research studies. Using a summary table allows you to be more concise in your narrative description. Only research studies used to support your intervention are summarized in this table. Refer to the "Evaluation Table Template," available in the textbook appendix. Use the "Evaluation Table Template" as an adaptable template.
Write a narrative of 750-1,000 words (not including the title page and references) that presents the research support for the projects problem and proposed solution. Make sure to do the following:
Include a description of the search method (e.g., databases, keywords, criteria for inclusion and exclusion, and number of studies that fit your criteria).
Summarize all of the research studies used as evidence. The essential components of each study need to be described so that readers can evaluate its scientific merit, including study strengths and limitations.
Incorporate a description of the validity of the internal and external research.
It is essential to make sure that the research support for the proposed solution is sufficient, compelling, relevant, and from peer-reviewed professional journal articles.
Although you will not be submitting the checklist information or the evaluation table you design in Topic 3 with the narrative, the checklist information and evaluation table should be placed in the appendices for the final paper.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Evidence
Studies used as evidence will provide readers with the valuable insight needed to understand the focus of the study. The evidence adequately supports the research, providing statistical information about the prevalence of medication adherence among patients with congestive heart disease. The gathered evidence will support the project's problem and the proposed solution. The evidence will allow the researcher to study the efficacy of nursing support education and how it affects medication adherence for patients with congestive heart failure.
Search Methods
Using keywords is vital to the study as it reveals to what extent the issue of medication adherence is crucial for patients with congestive heart failure. Keywords and their search volumes will help incorporate the language used in different studies to the research and understand words that will describe problems and solutions. Studies that were conducted over five years ago will be excluded from the research since new findings will be invaluable compared to outcomes that have already been amended. The number of studies that fit the criteria is more than twenty, but the research will focus on a few studies that adequately outline the issue of medication adherence and nursing support education.
Evidence Summary
Many heart failure patients fail to adhere to their medication. This results in re-hospitalization of such patients. It is therefore essential to introduce nursing support education to heart failure patients and their caregivers to gauge medication adherence. According to Aggarwal et al. (2015), a qualitative baseline assessment study on heart failure patients and their caregivers showed that 60% of patients forget to take their medicines. This was attributed to forgetfulness, taking other medicines and a general feeling of relieve. Most of the participants preferred the use of mobile applications and text messages as a way of increasing adherence to their medications.
The assessments were carried out using high-end medication assessment tools. These were the Morisky Medication scale to assess medication adherence, Medication Adherence Self Efficacy Scale (MASES-R) to evaluate medication self-efficacy and Beck Depression Inventory to assess depressive symptoms (Aggarwal et al., 2015). This data was analysed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis tools. These tools improved the strength of the study.
Unverzagt et al. (2016) carried out a study to improve the efficiency of heart failure patients in medication adherence. The study included content analysis of relevant publications. These publications included 24 trials on worthy interventions to improve medication adherence and 42 trials on promoting adherence to lifestyles commendations. The research found out that medication adherence would be attained with the help of patients’ education and establishing follow up strategies. In-depth content analysis of information and data from reliable and trusted sources highly enhanced the strength of this study.
Research by Ruppar et al. (2016) was conducted by content analysis, and consequently, a meta-analysis was performe...
