According to Robert Gross, public schools are far better than private schools when it comes to quality education. First of all, they do not compromise on the qualifications, experience and selection procedure of the teachers. The chance is that a private school will hire inexperienced teachers, so sending the children to a private institution can be risky. If parents are concerned about their studies and want them to step toward a progressive and bright future, they should send them to public schools. The author also argues that a child’s academic abilities are paid attention to when he is sent to a public school of his locality. He will get an opportunity to meet various new pupils and gain knowledge from the most qualified and dedicated educators of the town. A graduate who is looking for a well-paying job in the teaching sector will never apply for a job at a private school since the pay offered is usually terrible, and the same person will play an integral part in the child’s career grooming when he begins teaching him at the public school. This is how the kids get the quality education under the supervision of most hardworking and professional faculty.
