Gender Role in Pay Disparities
Gender pay disparity is a global problem. It seems a result of women's struggle to grow economically in a stereotypical sociocultural environment. Even in the digital age, women face multiple workplace problems due to their demographic identity, affecting their careers, promotion, and advancement. The five articles below discuss the gender pay gap, its reasons, its impact on society and the economy, and a comparison of different sectors in this respect. All three articles are a result of a search for peer-reviewed articles.

This article analysis reveals the gender-based pay gap by collecting data through online surveys. At first, it conducted a national survey on the internet to gather 1600 responses, then provided the data to four research groups for critical evaluation. Based on the gathered responses, the data also showed accurate numeric statistics through tables of the pay gap between men and women in workplaces. The analysis has four gender theories named glass ceiling; its connection with women's place in offices; position segregation; its impact on working women, agency segregation; its contribution to the expansion of the problem, and human capital. The article shows research-based numeric data collected by analyst groups about the difference between gender and human capital.
The article discovers the barrier responsible for pay inequity and their complexity stemming from an organization's link with culture and human capital. The study compulsorily involves the contribution of barriers and the need to diminish them to determine the association between gender and pay inequity. By analyzing four theories, the article finds out that position segregation and agency segregation demand consideration and solution as the heart of the problem while discussing gender-based pay disparities. It also highlights the prominent factors that impact the agency and position segregation and how much attention they need to minimize the problem. Also, the article explores demographical pay inequality in different workplaces for the same position (Alkadry & Tower, 2006).
This article attempts to discuss the problem of gender-based pay inequity from the root problem. It takes the reader to examine the factors responsible for the problem by discussing four problem-related theories individually and discovering quantitative results. The authors also include policymakers and their contribution and failure to significantly minimize the pay gap for different positions and the same positions in different organizations for women. Ultimately, the article leads the reader to consider the fundamental factors behind the problem and the need for sociocultural and legal reforms to reverse the situation. According to me legal policy revision is very important to discover the solution of the problem, thereby this article plays an important function in my study.
