In this journal, the writers provide genetic evidence of the illegal trade of whale fins. This is sufficient proof of the mass killing that has gone on through time. The article also follows up with the organizations that are in charge of commercial whale business. The effects of the mass killing of whales and dolphins is their eventual extinction.

In this journal, the author delves into runoff pollution as it drains into oceans seas. They write that the influx of contaminated water with excess nutrients into the sea leads to excessive growth of algae. This leads to increased competition for oxygen and hence death of marine life.

The authors of this journal have taken deep interests in the number of sharks that have been fished the purpose of obtaining their fins. This has activity grown commercially and as such put the lives of sharks at great risk. There is also an imbalance in the aqua system on reduction of the predator.

In this journal, the authors write about their findings after research which they did on Mediterranean bay. It showed that fish farming hugely affected the growth of sea grass, by contamination of the sea water. In this way other marine life was hugely affected as well.

In this article dead seas cannot inhabit marine life. This is due to their salty nature as they lack outlets and only lose water by evaporation. This leaves behind salt and minerals.

In this journal courses of ocean acidification are the increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The increased carbon dioxide levels have led to decreased pH of the ocean water that is not conducive for marine life as reduces ability of reef-building corals to produce exoskeletons.
