You must document at least twenty-four (24) separate journal publications.  A few more than the minimum requirement is always advisable.

The journal entries will be grouped, as appropriate, under each of the four research questions.  List the articles alphabetically under each of the questions.

Note:  All of your journal articles do not have to be exclusively about your country, or your country’s culture. They may also address elements that would be pertinent to your country, such as circumstances or conditions that affect the behavior or attitudes of the people (i.e., poverty, war, health concerns, labor conditions, cost of living, etc.). You might also find articles that mention elements of the region that can apply to the culture. Regions could include Europe, the Middle East, Asia or Latin America, for example.

  If you can get one useful fact from a journal article that applies to your country’s culture, you can include that information if it makes sense and adds credibility to your writing. You are aiming for documentation about how and why the people live, think and behave the way they do. These are issues that will affect your prospects for successful interaction when considering doing business there. They are likely to be much less apparent than black-and-white laws and regulations.

The journal research is the academic “prospecting” that will give the scholarly edge to your paper. The fact is, however, that much, if not most of the useful material you write about is likely to come from more popular and practical resources rather than 24 scholarly journals. A very large percentage of such resources will be found among the “Research Websites” posted in your VITAL INFORMATION menu link.

Finally, when you are finished with the research, you will want to know if opening business operations in your selected country would, on the whole, be a good idea or not. You do not need to prove the country is a good candidate for overseas expansion. It may not be. That is one of the reasons SWOT analysis should be included under the fourth research question.

This section will provide some flexibility for articles that may not specifically address culture, but pertain to the operational environment for doing business in your country.  If you have a few scholarly journal articles such as this, list them under the fourth research question, and create a sub-heading for SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats).  Do not exceed six articles under SWOT in the Annotated Bibliography.

Immediately following the SWOT analysis, create another sub-heading to provide a Foreign Direct Investment analysis (FDI).  Do not exceed four articles under FDI in the Annotated Bibliography. 

Therefore, you need to have at least fourteen other annotated articles that pertain to culture in the Annotated Bibliography.  For the final GBCA, however, it’s advisable to have a few more than twenty-four references overall.  And remember, in the GBCA, all references are arranged alphabetically, not grouped by the research questions, and they will not include annotations.

This paper aimed at identifying the effect of Islamic work ethics had on the organizational citizenship behavior in press organizations in Jordan and identity is the most important factor in Islamic work ethics. the study used a field survey that used an analytical approach that was descriptive on seven Jordanian daily newspapers in 2010. Depending on the organization’s size, a certain sample of the top and executive management obtained using a random stratified sampling method and 66 questionnaires distributed to 30% of targeted managers and 15% of employees. means and standard deviations were utilized to respond to the questions in combination with single-factor analysis of variance and multiple regression analyses while percentages determined the community’s characteristics.
The results reveal that the level of commitment to Islamic ethics by the workers was high and a statistically significant effect of abiding by Islamic work ethics such as kindness while dealing with clients and employees, obedience to authority, and respecting job ethics. However, there was no statistical significance of abiding by the Islamic work ethics in citizenship behavior in the organization. The research involves components of organizational citizenship behavior that come from Islamic work ethics; therefore, such ethics can be incorporated in HR systems in different organizations. they can be part of the code of conduct that state the expected employee behavior.
