After studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Buffalo for two years, I successfully excelled the course. I endured all the challenges in my studies at the university to complete the course. My performance was impressive, and I won so many scholarships. I also gained a lot of experience in the scientific field, thus developing an interest in the biology subject.
The Reason and goal of transferring
Although the University at Buffalo was ideal for me two years ago, I think I now need to explore more intellectual experiences to reach my goal. While studying pharmacy, I realized my knowledge in biology had diversified and needed to explore more in the research field to continue my learning. This awareness has provoked me to change my course to pursue research in biology. It was not easy to decide on this new move, especially for a person who had enrolled in an intensified degree program. However, as I examined my interest, I realized biology and research combined is what has been motivating me for the past few years.
As a young adult, I was heavily influenced by the idea of giving back. I started volunteering for the Young Men’s Christian Association during high school. I participated in many activities that assisted the Auburn community, and served them with kindness love. I also was responsible for gathering young leaders to form a strong committee. I was encouraged and motivated by my friends although the experience was tough. Volunteer also aid at my transition from high school to college, where I made friends through clubs and school public events. Since freshman year, I am an active member of International Circle K. The organization has enabled me to polish my leadership skills and develop compassion and goodwill toward others.
