As a fraud analyst at a bank, I am indebted to investigating any suspicious transactions by customers, such as forgery and theft. Some of my responsibilities include; monitoring and tracking operations and activities through the accounts of our clients, spotting any high-risk transaction and the risks they may involve. It is a very demanding job and therefore having a clear set of goals is necessary, since it is the only way to grow and achieve satisfaction.
Development and further advancement of my knowledge resources are some of the goals I formulated. I have a desire to upgrade my skills and knowledge to be successful professionally in this field. I, therefore, have planned to enroll for part-time studies in a university. Financially, I want to earn twice my current salary or even more. This increase in pay will be on the quality of the output am producing. I am upbeat about it, since I believe I produce results that are both quantitatively and qualitatively excellent.
I need to familiarize myself with different people and cultures around the world since it will help me view life from a different perspective. It's the reason as to why I have set a goal of learning and experiencing new things in my career. Expansion of the knowledge realm will make me expand my thought. My greatest objective is to grow, a major reason as to why I need to maintain stability in my company in my position as a fraud analyst. It helps me improve and also develop the entire financial institution. While at it, I also aim to obtain satisfaction with my job as a fraud analyst. This does not impede my progress in attaining resources but helps me build myself at the point where I am. The above are my short –term goals that I am looking forward to in the next two years.
In the next 5-10 years, I want to find my way as the manager of other fraud analysts department in my company. To achieve overall growth, one must be consistent (Randell, 2016). Working diligently and being dedicated is a way of me growing professionally. I want to be the CEO within a decade. In this position, I will acquire the essential and necessary expertise and knowledge required to establish my own company. Meanwhile, opting for a second job is another thing I want to achieve. A second job will ensure that am financially independent. With financial freedom in mind, I can take the risks of seizing any opportunities that arise. The risks may turn out to be lucrative for my company, who knows!
