In applying for my university admission, various factors affected the reasons for my application. My ultimate choice to join Syracuse University was influenced by various factors that I felt were of importance to me. Among the factors that affected my choice of the university is the location of the university. By the fact that the university is located right at the center of New York City, it attracts various kinds of people to join it. As a result, the population that is found in the university is quite diverse. I felt that by joining the university, I would be able to interact with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. As a result, I will have the advantage of understanding people and cultures more.
Another factor that contributed to my choice of the university is the fact that it has various campuses other than its main campus that is located in New York. I considered this as an advantage by the fact that it is evident that the university has significantly grown. Due to this fact, getting a degree from the university is, therefore, an advantage by the fact that the employers greatly recognize it. Also, by the fact that the university has various branches, there is the advantage that in the case that I will have to move from New York to another location, I will be at greater ease of possibility of transferring my credits to the other campus.
