Career Objective
My primary career objective is to develop a proper understanding of the legal system and help my community and American society. The judiciary plays a significant role in the country’s operations and the interrelationship among individuals. Although I understand that the primary sources of law are the constitution, common law, administrative regulations, and statutes, I need to know how they contribute to the smooth functioning of government and private agencies. In particular, the law is the backbone of social, economic, and political factors. A proper understanding of the legal system will keep me understand how different branches of the government work in collaboration to enhance justice. The knowledge acquired from my Master’s in Legal Studies will enable me to present my community well and ensure that justice is served where it is deserved.
Qualifications
Being a graduate of criminal justice and social work from the University of Washington, I have what it takes to enroll for a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies at the University of Arizona Law School. I passed all my courses in my undergraduate, and they opened my eyes to know the career path I will take. For instance, the bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and social work at Washington University helped me understand justice and crime within the broader social perspective. I realized that a proper legal system is what the country needs to facilitate economic, political, and social growth and development. I participated in various workshops and programs that enriched my knowledge and skills in law. Washington University enabled me to learn the analytical and theoretical aspects of the American criminal justice system.
I am well-versed in how the legal system influences social justice, community partnerships, individuals’ thinking, and diversity. I know that social justice is implemented with the primary objectives of harm reduction, restorative, and rehabilitative approaches to justice. In that light, it is clear that I have the fundamentals of studying legal systems, which means that I am qualified for the Master’s of Legal Studies at Arizona Law School. For instance, the United States of America (USA) has suffered for many years from the adverse consequences of poor immigration policies and the issue of racism.
