"Here are some comments on your presentation and on the introduction you sent me. As I said in class, you should limit the scope of your investigation, In particular, the last page of your intro opens on too many fascinating topics that you can't possibly discuss in this paper.
You should also distinguish the normative aspect from the positive aspect. Firms want to be rated ESG because it attracts investment and/or enhances morale and/or pleases your customers and/or the regulators. If it attracts investments then it boosts the stock price. Reducing your exposition to climate risk can be done with or w/o ESG, and will also boost the stock price.
You should take a look at the attached two papers: one a survey on ESG, one that applies the CAPM."
Please revise the proposal according to his requirements, especially the part of the proposal. I showed him the “Intro” file. The other one is a document I've already finished paper. I hope to focus on changing the proposal, and the rest contents in the back should also be changed accordingly.
