Proposed Topic: Effects of Divorce on Children's Future Relationships
Introduction
The growing divorce rate and separation in society have emerged as a primary concern for social scientists in recent years. In the US, it is estimated that about 50% of marriages end up in divorce. Many social scientists have begun exploring the potential impact this situation could have on future generations. Divorce is a very emotional process, not only for a couple but also for their children. Extant studies have demonstrated a wide range of problems and challenges associated with children of divorced parents. For instance, children from divorced families grapple with different behavioral and psychological issues, some of which persist into adulthood. This paper will specifically analyze how divorce influences the attitudes of children towards love and marriage.

This paper's main objective is to determine whether parents' divorce affects the attitudes of children towards love and marriage. As a result, the report will address the following questions:
1 What is the long-term psychological impact of divorce on the relationships of children into adulthood?

Question 1
The demographics of modern families are changing together with the psychological and philosophical perspectives of relationships. Many young adults are skeptical about marriage as they feel it is old-fashioned and a confining state of living. Society today sees women having fewer children or doing so later in life CITATION And14 \l 1033 (Anderson, 2014). Consequently, there are more parents cohabiting and fewer children that get to live in a married family dynamic. Numerous researches have shown that the effects of parental divorce are detrimental and can persist into adulthood.
It turns out the primary constitution of an adult's biology; the main wiring is not present at birth. However, the infant will acquire these perspectives through social, linguistic, family, interpersonal and naturing required for survival. Every family is unique, and children have been exposed to different degrees of social, emotional, and economic resources CITATION Tai06 \l 1033 (Huurre, Junkkari, & Aro, 2006). With differing family experiences before a divorce, children will have different psychological mindsets coping with the divorce. For instance, children can have decreased social and psychological maturation. Children from divorced families can test low on self-concept ad social situations. Such children find it hard to create relationships, and as a result, they can worsen their anxiety and depression.
Consequently, such children can change their outlook on sexual behavior. This can be an increase in the lack of stern authority in cohabitated parental arrangements. Children in such a dynamic make early sexual debuts primarily because of their newfound inability to view marriage and sex as long-term commitments.
