What could be done to remedy this? Your answer will need to describe how specific concepts from each of the 4 lectures and 6 chapters of the textbook indicated below, could be of value towards this end.

•Papers must not exceed 1200 words. Grader will stop reading at 1200 words.•Be precise and concise. You will be graded on the clarity and depth of your rationales. (Note:repetition of the same concept with the same rationale will not earn you credit). Briefexamples/applications may be used to make your points more explicit.•Write in compete sentences NOT bullet points
•Single space•There is no need for introductory or summary/conclusion paragraphs as these tend berepetitive.•The course textbook and lecture materials need only be referenced by putting in brackets T fortextbook and page number(s) (e.g., T37). Lecture 5
Using the placebo effect in routine medical care may add to the suffering of patients with chronic pain, illnesses, and terminal conditions. Even though some studies show that the placebo effect might be more effective than medicine (L5), the use of the placebo effect might contribute to these patients' suffering. The placebo effect may affect patients because almost 50% of physicians have, at least once, used a placebo-like treatment without any support from clinical evidence (L5). However, this practice can be banned, especially when there is no evidence in favor of the placebo treatment. Prohibiting the use of clinically unsupported placebo treatments can ensure that these patients receive actual treatment that is supported by clinical evidence.
Lecture 6
Lecture 6 reveals that a significant number of people lack appropriate access to treatment for depression. Yet, depression is a common mental health condition (L6). This indicates that the healthcare system has failed to provide adequate access to appropriate treatment for people with chronic mental health illnesses, such as depression, and the repercussions are significant. The healthcare system might add to the suffering of these patients because rather than help them with appropriate treatment, most people either lack access to care and a majority of those that seek help get inappropriate care. Increasing access to proper care can remedy this situation, but most importantly, the healthcare system must have policies that address the underlying causes of this access issue.
Lecture 7
People with pain, chronic, and terminal illnesses often experience additional stress resulting from their health condition. While the healthcare system has acknowledged the relationship between chronic/terminal illnesses and anxiety, it fails to help patients cope with these conditions. Patients use various stress coping strategies, such as defensive, task-oriented, self-blaming, and constructive (L7). The healthcare system needs to support patients in developing effective stress-coping mechanisms when dealing with chronic and terminal illnesses. Rather than focus on the diseases, it should focus on the patients as people to understand how to help them develop positive stress coping mechanisms.
Lecture 8
Lecture 8 provides insights into how comfort in the work environment affects healthcare delivery. Some of the ways in which the healthcare system has failed patients are through medical errors and misdiagnosis. The healthcare system has placed a high burden on healthcare providers, who must make many decisions under uncertainty (L8). Any mistakes made during healthcare delivery add to the suffering of patients with chronic or terminal illnesses. For instance, under-treatment of pain due to a medical error can increase the suffering of a patient with chronic pain. The healthcare system must improve its workforce's ergonomics to increase providers' comfort.
Chapter 6
This chapter provides insights into the role of stress in healthcare and patients' well-being. One of t...
