Research in one of the essential reasons for visiting an art museum as it improves certain empirical studies based on social and cultural disciplines. Furthermore, visiting a museum improves one’s happiness because they get to be provided with particular positive interpretations of the negative misconceptions related to museums and fed to their knowledge over time by their peers and folks. It also aids in successful social relationships with certain material items of art. Moreover, apart from offering important degree of education as that is its preliminary role, museums act as sources of inspiration in the creation of an education curriculum related to it as a discipline. Further, over a long period of time, museums have created a lasting partnership between schools and education institutions and cultural institutions in order to prepare students for the 21st century sure that they have interesting histories to tell and inspire other generations. This paper aims at expounding on my visit to the Capitoline Museum where the original statue of the She- Wolf is placed.
The wolf is made in form of a bronze sculpture that depicts a scene from the legend of the founding Rome. The She-Wolf artwork is dated back to the 11th -16th Century and it measures 75 cm x 114cm (30 inches x45inches) and it is the work of the 15th-century sculptor Antonio Pollaiolo , the prominent sculptors of the 15th century. Antonio was both an Italian painter, sculptor, engraver, and goldsmith during the Italian Renaissance. The bonze Capitoline She-Wolf the wolf is a representation of the nation of Rome since the middle of the 16th century. The sculpture is located within the center of the room showing she-wolf suckling the mythical twin founder of the Rome, Romulus, and Remus. The depiction from the sculpture reveals the overthrowing of Numitor, the grandfather of the twins, by his brother Amulius, the usurper ordered them cast into river Tiber (Johns, 2019). Additionally, the sculpture shows how the she-wolf rescues the twins and offers them protection the herdsman Faustulus find and raises them. The sculpture is believed to be the work of the 15th-century sculptor Antonio Pollaiolo. Again, the image of the she-wolf reflects the aspects of Rome since ancient times and one of the most prominent and recognizable icons of ancient mythology.

The sculpture is traditionally dated back to the first half of 5 BC and it contains various comparisons to the Italian and Greek production figurations. Moreover, with the use Carbon 14 analysis, the structure’s organic materials in the casting process show that the structure is dated to the medieval time (Herman & Paoletti, 2004).
