ABSTRACT
This is research proposal that is conducted trying to identify how change in the organization, quality, ethics, knowledge and innovations and customers satisfaction affect how companies make profit. This are some of the factors that if considered well will see the company’s profit grow. The research identifies possible solutions to companies’ losses by analyzing these factors. This proposal will include literature review chapter where that discusses the various concepts of research topic. Change in the organization, ethics, quality, knowledge and innovations, and customer satisfaction is discussed in detail. It also includes the methodology whereby the way through which the research was conducted is explained. The method that was used to gather information and collect data was subjected to analysis before coming up with conclusion to the issues.
CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION
1 Background Information
The research is on effects of change in the organization, ethics, quality, knowledge and innovations, and customer satisfaction in the profitability of the organization. It has been noted that most companies do not consider these factors for them to make more profit. Despite challenges from all of these factors the organizations face, their main aim is making a profit. There is no organization that wishes to make a loss in any way. However, in this research these factors that affect the profitability are analyzed to explain why companies make losses.
2 Statement of the problem
Effects of change, quality, ethics, knowledge, innovation and customer satisfaction on the profitability of an organization.
3 Justification of the study
This research is being conducted so as to identify how change, quality, ethics, knowledge in the company, innovations and customer satisfaction is better achieved to increase the profit of a company. The research is necessary because despite the fact that companies have been directed to embrace change, quality, good ethics, better knowledge, meet customer satisfaction and innovate more there are some organizations which still make great losses. It is therefore necessary to know the reason for this problem by doing the study.
4 Purpose of the study
The major goal of the research is to have an understanding some of the factors that affect the profit making of an organization. These factors include change, quality, ethics, knowledge, customer satisfaction, and innovations. This will help in identifying solutions that should be put in place to solve the problem hence increasing the profit of the company.
5 Objectives
To ascertain the main effect of change, quality, ethics, knowledge, customer satisfaction, and innovation on profitability of an organization.

* To understand how change in the organization affect, the company from making a profit.
* To establish the effect of quality management in making of profit by an organization.
* To identify the effect of knowledge and innovation in the process of making profit by an organization.
* To know customers satisfaction, affect the amount of profit gotten by an organization
6 Hypothesis of the study
* The study will formulate ways in which these issues can be solved so as to help the organizations get a profit.
* The study will bring out the reasons as to why there is low profit making by an organization.
* The study will relate how customer satisfaction, ethics, quality, change, knowledge and innovations affect profitability of the organizations and provide possible ways to mitigate the issues.
7 Significance of the study
The study of this topic of profit making by the organization is significant in that it will help organizations to make profit hence preventing them from shutting down due to losses. The presence of every company in the market will help create health competition which will lead to give out better service or products. It is, therefore, of great importance to conduct this research to help come up with solution strategies that can be applied to help achieve good profit to the organizations.
8 Assumptions
The study assumes that luck of achievement of change, quality, ethics, customer satisfaction, knowledge, and innovation in an organization.
9 Limitation of the study
The study only focusses on lack of change, quality, ethics, knowledge, customer satisfaction and innovations while other reasons why these is not achieved.
2.0 Delimitation of the study
This research is more focused on the lack of change, quality, ethics, knowledge, innovations, and customer satisfaction while the trend today is encouraging organizations to embrace change, quality management, apply good knowledge, have new innovations, and meet customer specifications.
CHAPTER TWO: LITERATURE REVIEW
2.0 Introduction
Literature review will entail the review of concepts of research. The research topics will be on how they affect profitability of the organization. For us to understand how these factors affect profit making of the organization it is better to know what the factors entail. Here, our discussion will be based on the following factors; change in the organization, quality, ethics, knowledge and innovations, and customers satisfaction of the organization.
2.1 Change in The Organization
Embracing change in the organization will help is important since it will help in management and smooth transitions within the organization. The effects of change in the organization at first are not welcoming but a good effect of it is realized later (Holen and Jenssen, 2018). Some of the factors that will lead to change in the organization include; embracing technology, customer needs, change in economy, growth opportunities, and challenging the status quo (Sosik and Jung, 2018).
2.1.1 Embracing Technology
Change in technology will affect how people do communication. The availability of the internet helps to make the work for the organization easier and faster. In absence of change in an organization, leaders will still control conformity to secretaries, correcting their words and sending them back to the planning stage which will waste a lot of time. With presence of technology, better management can be achieved which will project to more profits.
2.1.2 Customer’s Needs
As the world evolve every single day some products or services provided by the organization become outdated and customers will not need them. This will be avoided by changing products or services provided. Customers demands increase every day hence change should be embraced.
2.1.3 Change in The Economy
As the economy grows the call for products and services would rise. This will make the organization to expand its activities which may call for addition of more staff and new provisions.
2.1.4 Growth Opportunities
Change in the organization will allow employees to learn new skills and enable them to become more creative. Consequently, the employees will deliver better services hence more profit to the organization.
