Obesity is Now a Major Public Health Concern

Topic: Could be changed, main subject is obesity. Would like to focus on the factors that contribute to weight gain in the working American vs non working American like work life balance, socioeconomic status, stress, etc. But if you find a different topic with more evidence based material that's fine also as long as it has to do with obesity.
The assignment:
1. Write a paragraph about your possible research proposal topic. Select something you have passion about and that has testable questions. This is the most important part of the assignment. Pick something you will stick with for all the assignments.
2. Write a sentence about how your chosen research topic fits with what is already known about the topic in the current literature.
3. Take the topic that you choose to study for your proposed research. Conduct a search of the literature and find a minimum of three and maximum of ten references from scholarly journals pertaining to your topic. Identify these sources in correct APA 7th Edition reference list format. In at least three sentences describe the importance and appropriateness of each reference for your proposed research. At a minimum, you should discuss the reasons the question that you plan to investigate holds importance.
It will take longer now if you pick 10 references, but it will take you more time later if you pick 3! If you are certain of your topic, pick 10, if you are still searching and narrowing, pick 3. A scholarly journal can be found at Google Scholar by typing in the topic name and or relevant terms or authors or utilizing the NSU Library databases. A scholarly journal in APA style will be sure to have all the sections you need to work on method details later such as, title, abstract, intro, method, results, discussion, and references.
4. Use the objectives listed in Chapter 6 to discuss how you will establish an appropriate study group for your proposal. Describe the population that you propose to study (delimitations).
