I am considering the region of Nunavik in Canada for my nature journal as the place offers a lot of untouched nature and a rich amount of species that live in the region's ecosystem. The place has a harsh cold climate but it does not stop from allowing life to flourish in this region plants and animals learned to adapt and develop unique characteristic that allows them to thrive in this region. In addition to this, it is also the homeland of the Inuit people, and it offers great cultural significance for that region as they learn to adapt to the harsh climate of the area.
Abid, W. A. (2021, February 2). Nunavik, Quebec, Canada. ArcGIS StoryMaps. https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/ff6c2fe576c745a4a0a6dc65530856bf

In taking my nature adventure via Nunavik's climate, the three things I wish to learn about the region are (1) the region's rich ecology, (2) indigenous people's traditional knowledge and traditions, and (3) the region's climate as well as the magnificent northern lights.
The region is characterized by its vast tundra plain, numerous rivers, rugged mountain ranges, and lakes. The region is surrounded by two huge bodies of water the Labrador Sea and the Hudson Bay. The bodies of water greatly shape the place's ecosystem as plant and animal species normally thrive in places wher...
