After my review of the last 30 days of Herschel Supply Co.’s social media (Facebook and Instagram) posts, I have discovered that there is not much variety in the most recent posts of the company. It seems that Herschel Supply Co. has not been very much active in the last 30 days (Sept. 30, 2022 up to Oct 20, 2022), with only ten recent posts on Facebook and six recent posts on Instagram. Furthermore, I have noticed that on Facebook, there is much complaint-related comments on the posts, regardless if they are photos or videos, and the most number of shares seen within 30 days was 2 shares. Instagram seems to have better viewership, but there are still a lot of complaint-based comments. View counts for Instagram and Facebook are no longer visible. Additionally, Herschel Supply Co. is in the middle of promoting their partnership with Korean artist named Henn Kim, whose art reflects very surrealist and monochromatic themes that aim to blend fantasy and reality to celebrate women in the arts.
Based on the infrequent posts on Facebook, the social media manager for Herschel Supply Co. seems to be active between 8am-10am and then again with posts at 5pm on Tuesdays to Fridays. The posts are all photos which are either non-promotional or promoting their Henn Kim partnership for the time being. There are sparse interactions with viewers on this platforms, with post likes only averaging about 16 likes, with little to no shares (only 1 share at the most), and with comments that are often complaints on their customer service and warranty.
