Research Paper Instructions:

Final paper consists of one case 3 summaries and 3 application. One case a new summary which link will be provided and an application that combined the two. Afterwards a summary that has been written before (will provide an attachment of a previous summary then an application that combined the first case from this paper to the summary that has been written before. Furthermore a new personal opinion summary and an application that combine the first case from this paper with the personal opinion summary.
The paper should start with a Case. Case instructions and choices:
A case presents some difficult ethical choice going forward. A choice between at least two preliminary options appears difficult to decide from an ethical point of view. Cases will be assessed according to the following criteria:
One page typed (at least 200 words), double-spaced, with MLA citations as appropriate (for example, wherever the writer makes reference to public facts that can be documented or when the writer draws upon case materials published elsewhere).
A case presentation should summarize the outlines of a predicament, crossroads, or tough decision where it is difficult to decide upon the best course of action from an ethical point of view. Sometimes this is a choice of action, sometimes it is a choice of policy, sometimes the choice is being deliberated for individual action, sometimes for collective action. Please note: a difficult ethical choice is different from knowing very well what is ethical but facing an enticing, and clearly unethical, temptation.
Cases should reflect some contemporary predicament that presents some possible choice in your own “mature” experience going forward. Agents confronting the choice should be at least your age or older, at a calendar date no older than this week.
Show the ethical difficulty by presenting two preliminary options for action and explaining why it appears ethically difficult to choose between them. Each preliminary option should be considered in light of its possible outcome.
In cases developed for this course, do not indicate which choice is or should be taken. That will be the subject of an application exercise. So be sure to stop the action at the moment of choice, but prior to any decision or course of action.
Case Types: the primary agent in a case may be individual or collective, and the primary choice may involve an act or a policy. Cases involving an individual agent facing a particular action will take story form, describing the details of a particular place and time where an action is called for. Cases involving collective agents making policy choices will present the policy question in the title. Usually, the story form is inappropriate for collective policy cases.
Individual Agents, Particular Acts
Anonymous strangers in public spaces. See general case guidelines above. Write a case involving some difficult choice faced by an individual agent in a “public space.” The action will primarily affect anonymous strangers. A “public space” may include private property that is open to the public such as a shopping mall. The case will be assessed for its focus on the anonymous stranger. Neither the agent nor the strangers should have any defined role such as cashier or officer. This case is just between people who face each other as people.
College life, on campus or off. See general guidelines above. Write a case involving some difficult choice faced by a college student on campus or off. This is an exercise exploring ethical challenges of college life construed broadly. It may include academic classroom situations, roommate relationships, work life, social events, or other aspects of life faced by college students. The case may involve anonymous strangers or people who are known by the principal agent.
Family or Work going forward. This is an exercise to preview issues in family or work that you may face going forward in your life. These are post-college situations where professionals face challenges in work and personal life. The situations involve relations with colleagues, clients, supervisors, employees, children, parents, or significant others. Consider the sorts of professions that you are considering as career choices. Anticipate the sorts of relationships that you would face in your choice of lifestyle. (Only choose one case from the case choices above then you see fits the work.
First summary 3 direct quotes should be taken from this article.

Case Study
Corporate Social Responsibility refers to business obligations in fulfilling the responsibilities of the stakeholders, hence maximizing its positive impacts. Business ethics means making morally appropriate decisions with an aim of inculcating the sense of conducting business responsibly. According to Sims, "Ethical behaviors enhances leadership."
Assume that a contracting officer at Glasmile Airbase is currently on a temporary leave to chair a community development meeting that is entitled to generate growth and development plan in the local area. During a break in the seminar, a colleague who you were sitting beside triggers a chat, only to realize that he is the senior government contractor with a national parastatal that is your closest affiliate. You first met this man a year ago when both of you were stationed to work in the same firm. While you were a junior member in the force, he was a Lieutenant Colonel to the entire force. Therefore, it means that you did not spend ample time together due to the differences in the rank. However, you crossed each other’s paths in the line of duty, meet ones in a while at the club and even exchanged some professional ideas.
Before the meeting reconvenes, he begins creating flashbacks on your past relations, setting a platform for discussing the development and fate of other colleagues. In the meantime, he hands you a business card. After small evaluation of the card, you realize that he can become an asset to your company. He requests to meet you after the meeting, pointing that he has business matters that he would wish to discuss with you. You accept his offer, but committing to yourself that whatever issue, you will precipitate a formal meeting with the senior executive so that you may discuss the business idea together with your latest client.
After the meeting is called off, both of you remain behind to discuss the business issue that you realize hinges on contracts. You carefully analyze the situation through taking note of the fundamental issues and promise your "client" that you shall conduct an intensive investigation concerning the matter after return to work. You assure him that you shall connect him with the right people to set the deal moving soon after reporting to work. While packing to leave, he stops you to compliment you on your reliable and a ‘businessman image.’ However, he emphasizes that there is an excellent reward attributed to how you ‘relate’ with your bosses. Considering that you have not been promoted to a higher position in the company, he imagines that a further talk could reap good fruits. In fact, this could be a life changing occurrence. Both of you agree to meet at "happy life" hotel to discuss this issue are you refresh the bones with couples of drinks.
In the course of conversation, he demonstrates his authority by indicating that he can slot you a better position in their company. However, you are not ready to change your job, perhaps down the roads. He asserts that there are "other ways" in which you can help one another. He finally surfaces his intentions by indicating that he targets you to "help a fellow friend" to maintain competition with other companies e...
