Question
I reject Christianity because I do not believe in God, and I think having such faith actually affects people really hard. I also do not believe God is ever existing.
Defense
Arguments about religion and personal beliefs are arguments that never end. We might even end up getting hurting each other in the process of the argument. As a Christian, I believe in God, and I believe in His existence. I believe that God exists because the universe and everything in it must have been created, and only God can do all that fantastic work. The second reason why I believe in the existence of God is in line with the many religions that exist in the world. These different religions all believe in one God. They all cannot be undoubtedly wrong about the existence of God. The third reason is that many unexplained things and beyond human explanation happen. As a Christian, I believe these are deeds by God. He is the only one who can perform such unexplained things. Lastly is that we do not necessarily need to have evidence to believe that God exists. Faith should work out everything for us, including believing that God exists (Rios et al., 961).
Therefore;
1 The universe and everything in it was created by God.
It is incredible the things that exist in the universe. There is no clear explanation of how the planets, stars, oceans, the plantation, creatures, among other things, came into existence. Not even science can convince us entirely on the origin of all these. The only sensible explanation is that a supreme being created, and that is God (Crossley & Jackie, 78). This explains the existence of God.
2 All religions in the world believe in one God, only that each religion has a different name for God
The world has over one hundred religions, with most of them believing in a supreme being. The largest of all is Christianity, followed by Islam and others like Hinduism, Buddhism, and the rest follow. The fact that all these religions believe in and worship God shows that God really exists. The different names they have for God only shows that a supreme existing. The Supreme Being who is God is all able and helps His people, and that is why we all pray for both appreciations and breakthroughs in difficult situations (Rios et al., 967).
3 Extraordinary happenings in the world are God's deeds
Most times, we witness extraordinary happenings that we cannot satisfactorily explain. Planets are suspended in the atmosphere without any particular thing that holds them to support. Yet the planets are stable and never in any danger. The oceans have large amounts of water that never get depleted and never fill up to cover all the dry land despite the continuous refills from rivers and streams. These are unexplainable scenarios that no science has ever convinced us satisfactorily. The only explanation that we can believe is that God is making all these possible because He is all-powerful. He, therefore, must be existing for all these things to maintain equilibrium (Rios et al. 964).
4 Faith makes us believe in the existence of God without questioning the evidence.
Faith keeps Christians believing without questioning...
