Contribution of Carlos Cadena to the American Civil Rights Movement

Research Paper Instructions:

I need a 5-6 page Historical Significance paper about Carlos Cadena.
For those interested in doing the Historical Significance Project:
In four to six pages, students will write a college-level research paper on a Mexican-American historical figure, focusing on their historical significance in American history (the impact they made). Students will relate the subject’s life (actions) with documented primary and secondary scholarly sources. A minimum of three scholarly sources are required (textbook, JStor, ProQuest, lecture, assigned readings, etc.). The subject must have lived/lives in the U.S., was/is of Mexican ancestry, and have made their historical contributions to U.S. history at least 40 years ago.
The paper should include a brief overview of the figure’s life, how historical events shaped their experiences, and what impact their actions had in history (historical significance).
Remember, this is not a retelling of their life. Instead, this is a paper that will argue their historical significance (impact) in U.S. history.
This is the outline and template of the research project. It's the same type of paper and information type we did before (if you have access to it). The evidence part of the essay is supposed to have information plus a quote or citation.
Topic (Historical subject on whom/what you’re writing):
Introduction (Not needed for this outline assignment, but feel free to practice and set up an office hour appointment to go over it with me if you would like. Provide attention getter, background, thesis and main points):
Thesis Statement (Your main argument that will be placed at the end of your introduction paragraph. This is what you’ll be “proving” throughout your paper. Your thesis should not be more than two sentences (aim for one sentence). Your thesis needs to state the historical significance of your chosen historical subject. It can either state one historical significance with three examples proving that significance (those three examples would be your main points), or can focus on three historical significances (each significance being a main point). Avoid using personal pronouns (e.g. “I,” “we,” “you,” etc.). State what your paper is about without using "I" or "This paper..."):
First Main Point (M.P.1) (List the first main point from your thesis here. Don’t write this in a complete sentence, just list the main point. Example: economy. If you’re arguing one historical significance with three examples proving that significance, then this would be your first example listed in your thesis. If you’re arguing three historical significances, then this will be the first significance you listed in your thesis.):
M.P.1 Evidence 1 (Quote information from one of the scholarly or assigned sources that demonstrates your first major point. Include citation.)
M.P.1 Evidence 2 (Another piece of evidence from an assigned source that supports/demonstrates your first major point. Include quote and citation.)
M.P.1 Evidence 3 (same as above)
Second Main Point (M.P.2) (List the second main point from your thesis here. Don’t write this in a complete sentence, just list the main point. Example: politics. If you’re arguing one historical significance with three examples proving that significance, then this would be your second example listed in your thesis. If you’re arguing three historical significances, then this will be the second significance you listed in your thesis.):
M.P.2 Evidence 1 (Quote information from one of the scholarly or assigned sources that backs up/demonstrates your second major point. Include citation.)
M.P.2 Evidence 2 (Another piece of evidence from an assigned source that supports your second major point. Include quote and citation.)
M.P.2 Evidence 3 (same as above)
Third Main Point (M.P.3) (List the first main point from your thesis here. Don’t write this in a complete sentence, just list the main point. Example: society. If you’re arguing one historical significance with three examples proving that significance, then this would be your third/last example listed in your thesis. If you’re arguing three historical significances, then this will be the third/last significance you listed in your thesis.):
M.P.3 Evidence 1 (Quote information from one of the scholarly or assigned sources that backs up/demonstrates your third major point. Include citation.)
M.P.3 Evidence 2 (Another piece of evidence from an assigned source that supports your third major point. Include quote and citation.)
M.P.3 Evidence 3 (same as above)
Conclusion (Not needed for this outline assignment, but feel free to practice and set up an office hour appointment to go over it with me if you would like. In it, you will summarize the main points and rephrase the thesis. Do NOT introduce new information or quotes. End with a closing statement.)
Feel free too contact me if you have any questions or if you need any clarification. I can also screenshot requirements if that is easier as well. Thank you!

Contribution of Carlos Cadena to the American Civil Rights Movement
Introduction
Thesis statement: This discussion highlights various aspects of the Mexican-American lawyer, attorney, and Judge Carlos C. Cadena’s professional career to underscore his historical significance in the American civil rights movement. For this purpose, this paper evaluates how his efforts ensured freedom of economic activities, provision of fair justice, and social freedom of ethnic minorities, especially Mexican immigrants and African Americans.
First Main Point: Carlos C. Cadena and Immigrants’ Economic Freedom
Evidence 1: Carlos C. Cadena made his utmost efforts to reinforce and uphold ethnic minorities’ and immigrants’ rights to win property and do business by fighting legal court cases. For instance, while working in partnership with a firm called Archer, San Miguel, and Cadena between 1947 and 1955, Cadena fought a legal case against the restrictive covenant case, which prevented Mexican Americans from purchasing land and property in San Antonio and allowed forfeiture of such property (Kohout). In this case, Cadena presented the view of Abdon Salazar Puente, a local Mexican American guilty of buying property in San Antonio’s Mayfield Park Addition. By pressing legal and tangible arguments, Cadena won the case and ensured economic freedom for Mexican Americans by opening up San Antonio’s real estate market to them (Kohout). This historical winning represents Carlo Cadena’s dedication to providing immigrants economic freedom and his impact on American legal and social history.
Evidence 2: Carlos C. Cadena also served as a city attorney in San Antonio; later, he became the associated judge on the Fourth Court, and eventually, in 1977, Cadena assumed the position of the Chief Justice of the Fourth Court (TLL). Since Cadena was the first Mexican American to hold this position, he symbolized the economic freedom and justice for Mexican Americans living in America. Even after his retirement in
