New Technology Devices Being Sold Too Early with Defects and How It Affects the Market
Modern technology has advanced over the past Century. This wave spurns from the industrialization era when different machines were introduced, including the first engine, and later on, during the late 19th Century when electricity was discovered, the first vehicle was made and the first computer. In the early 20th Century, the Wright brothers invented the first airplane, and also the telephone and the radio were made. Over the next few years into the late 1970s, different computer operating systems were made, including the famous Windows and Macintosh. Since then, technology has evolved to a great extent, especially over the past decade. We now have smartphones, computerized home systems, alarm systems, and even Artificial Intelligence like the famous Alexa.
Fortunately, the technology market has been very broad, especially in our modern world. We nowadays have computerized cars, robots, and other machines from the basic domestic use gadgets to heavy machinery in the military and construction industries. Additionally, out of every two people globally, one has a smartphone or any other electronic gadget in the world. These statistics mean that around four billion people worldwide have phones even more (O'Dea). As a result of this vast market, there is much competition among various industries specializing in making smartphones and other electronic devices. This competition has led to most companies rushing to release their newest gadgets based on what features they have added to them without considering whether they are working appropriately and do not have any environmentally unfriendly defects.
Excessive competition among the various smartphone-making companies has led to new technology devices, which have not undergone enough testing and research. These devices have harmed the general public and the environment at large. It is due to this very reason that market and company stocks in the technological world fluctuate, and tendencies of one becoming rich or making a good profit are as good as one becoming bankrupt on the same day. A good example of a company that experienced these drastic fluctuations is the Samsung Group.
The Samsung Group is a technology company that is world-renowned for making some of the best android smartphones. Additionally, the company also manufactures other gadgets, including semiconductors, display panels, smart television screens, refrigerators, and other home appliances. The company's headquarters is in Seoul, South Korea, and it was founded on 1st March 1938 by Lee Byung-Chul. In August 2016, this company, Samsung Group, released Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones whose marketing had already been done appropriately, and many consumers were eager to buy the new phone.
Two weeks after they were released, there were reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones were exploding unreasonably. There was a worldwide panic about this story, as consumers of the company's products felt unsafe and insecure to use Samsung products. The company's phone en...
