HIV/AIDS Awareness through Keith Haring's Pop Art

Research Paper Instructions:

Pop Art inspired international artists in the 1950s and subsequent periods. Influential features include: focus on mass production media, commercial commodities, popular culture, spectacular presentation, broad public appeal, favorable critical reception, and particular context (the post-war prosperity in the United Kingdom and the United States, but resulting from different impulses elsewhere). Reflecting on these features, and others, write a post about an artwork made by an artist located outside of the US or the UK, dated after 1950, dependent on Pop Art (as seen in the UK or the US).
Locate an artwork in Goggle Arts & Culture’s Pop Art Section (https://artsandculture(dot)google(dot)com/entity/pop-art/m0q4mn?categoryId=art-movement&hl=en), Google Arts & Culture’s Contemporary Art Section (https://artsandculture(dot)google(dot)com/entity/contemporary-art/m0h0vk?hl=en), or a major metropolitan museum's website. Then identify and analyze the qualities substantiating your selection’s Pop Art characteristics.
to the writer:

3. Research from Scholarly source material, such as the kinds of documents found in the SCAD Library's electronic databases and the SCAD Library's collections (https://scad(dot)libguides(dot)com/701swartz
If asking for a LOGIN, ask support
4. A footnote documenting the source of the quotation or paraphrase in the correct Chicago Manual of Style formatting using the Notes/Bibliography style.
5. Clear, proofread writing.
And please read the files I attached!
Thank you again!

The years of 1980s were marked by the exponential rise in cases of HIV/AIDs. Society was in fear and confusion because many people succumbed to death due to lack of immunity in their bodies as a result of AIDs. Pop artists were creative to include the contemporary issue in their work. Art is an effective way of communicating with people, for it touches people’s hearts, and bears a strong message, usually enshrined in a comical manner. As a result, pop artists such as Keith Haring were not left out in the awareness campaign to sensitize people of the dangers of AIDs. Many people did not want to talk about the disease because of fear.
Keith Haring included portraits of people expressing distress and frustration among people due to the deadly HIV/AIDs pandemic. The art illustrates the concern and fear among people as the deadly disease spread across the world. As a result, the global community was filled with fear and worry. Not many people under...
