Pop Art inspired international artists in the 1950s and subsequent periods. Influential features include: focus on mass production media, commercial commodities, popular culture, spectacular presentation, broad public appeal, favorable critical reception, and particular context (the post-war prosperity in the United Kingdom and the United States, but resulting from different impulses elsewhere). Reflecting on these features, and others, write a post about an artwork made by an artist located outside of the US or the UK, dated after 1950, dependent on Pop Art (as seen in the UK or the US).
