The article focuses on the judiciary's role in regulating the mass surveillance acts that take place to reduce criminal activities. The current technological advancements have played a major role in crime deterring as they provide means for the authorities to detect crimes before they occur. Through mass surveillance, the authorities can identify suspicious activities and take the necessary actions as soon as possible (Underwood & Saiedian, 2021).
