I am an intern at a publishing company, and they are considering introducing personality tests into the company’s hiring process. I have been tasked by the director of human resources with conducting research and putting together a proposal on various types of personality tests. The following three tests necessitate additional investigation. Here is a rundown of what I found out about personality types.
Free Myers-Briggs Personality Test
It is widely used and respected. It was initially grounded on Jung’s theory of personality ((Hoffarth, 2018). Still, the Myers-Briggs test divides people into 16 distinct personality types, each with a four-letter acronym associated with it. The tests aim to determine one’s strengths and shortcomings, goals and aspirations, how other people see someone, and how they see the world.

Employees at many companies are encouraged to take the widely used and respected DISC evaluation (Köhler et al. 2020). One boss’s forthright words may irritate them if they prefer passive and emotional communication approaches. Self-awareness can help someone locate their dream job, improve their working relationships, and lessen conflict in the workplace.
