Healthcare is an important structural branch in our society. Every administration in our government maintains the quality of services that it can provide to the consumers. Nowadays, there are new laws that mandate healthcare departments to ensure the health and well-being of every population. For the general public, creating a health care agency is important because it considers the prevention of any health threat and risks that cause harm to the general public. In connection with this paper, the writer will discuss a comparative presentation, detailing the healthcare practices of the three presidents of the United States. It seeks to discuss relevant comparisons among the three chosen leaders on how they balanced the health practices of the American society.
President John F. Kennedy: Universal Health Care for all
Upon watching the video, the comparative observation is the goal to provide a universal health care to the American citizens. The main goal is to increase health care opportunities for the general population to start receiving health care services. Former US President John F. Kennedy stimulated that the importance of sustaining the basic needs of the public decreases the number of mortality and morbidity rates. Universal health care means that the general public needs medical services to ensure that the services become accessible to the public. Installation of new hospitals and clinics increases the accessibilities to cater more individuals to receive a variety of healthcare services.
In contrast, there were a few community accessibility across the United States who receives healthcare services. During his administration, the United States is still in the process of establishing new hospital facilities and community health centers to increase medical services to the public. Another difference is the consideration of diversity in medical service accessibility. President Kennedy wants to improve customer services without degrading the demographic status of the patients. President Kennedy’s administration was coping wth incessant racial segregation and discrimination due to the presence of white supremacists.
