The risk management plan example chosen for analysis is the initiative to ensure patient safety. The reason for choosing this area is that medical error and subsequent harm are prevailing areas of concern. Such errors are detrimental at multiple levels. For instance, they contain fatal risks for patients, reputational risks for organizations, and the concerned watchdogs' burden of solving cases (Tigard, 2018). The chosen organization is John Hopkins Hospital, which focuses on empowering the families through ongoing administrative support and partnership to ensure the optimal safety of patients. This report analyses the strategies used by the hospital to maximize the focus on patient safety by evaluating them against the standard criteria of risk management and compliance standards.

Identifying and Analysing the Risk
The first step involves identifying the risk and situating it in the broader context of the business. After identifying risk, the next step involves analyzing its prospective impact and likelihood (Raimondo, 2018). JHH has already identified the risk and evaluated its hazard. Based on the insights gleaned from various statements available through its policy map, it is evident that patient safety is given top priority in consideration which the hospital is continuously engaged in ensuring the culture of safety (Paine et al., 2004). Evaluation and Planning
