The intervention is the different approach designed to make the experimental group different. The intervention was six-week campus forest-walking exercise conducted once a week during lunchtime or for an hour on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. The control group was also provided with information on stress management through lectures and providing leaflets related on mental and physical health. The intervention was provided from September to October 2014.

The control group was instructed to continue doing its daily routine but was subjected to testing just like the experimental group.
