Evidence of availability of knowledge in Diabetes
The availability of knowledge is vital in every field. Diabetes is a healthcare field that relies entirely on available and evolving ability to improve humans' lives (Care, 2019). Advanced knowledge is evident in the nursing profession through different professional standards like assessment, diagnosis, and planning. Assessment is an integral part of a nurse specializing in Diabetes. Patients with Diabetes have signs and symptoms that might be shared with other diseases (American-Nurses-Association, 2017). For example, extreme fatigue and weight loss. These symptoms are common to people suffering from malaria too. Assessment is a sign of advanced knowledge. Only a specialized nurse practitioner can perform an accurate assessment.

Despite an accurate diagnosis and prescription of medication, the disease can persist, prompting the outcome's assessment. Diagnosis and post-treatment assessment also shows that advanced knowledge is available in diabetes specialty (American-Nurses-Association, 2017). Planning is another evidence of progressive experience in healthcare. A nursing practitioner plans carefully and describes alternatives and strategies that help attain the expected outcome.

For a nursing practitioner to conduct a successful assessment, he must be rich in physical examination, bio-psychological sciences, and pathophysiology. Assessment is different from diagnosis because it does not involve laboratory tests but only reading signs and symptoms (American-Nurses-Association, 2017).
