Introduction to population or problem
Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are heart diseases and stroke that mostly affects those eating unhealthy foods, smokers as well as those who are obese and overweight. The American College of Cardiology (ACC) emphasizes the need for collaboration among health practitioners and APRNs are part of the health team who can serve as advocates to improve cardiovascular disease prevention and improve rehabilitation.
