There are different editions of the curriculum and each of the curriculums contain a variation from the previous ones due to the various suggestions that are made by different people. The different editions of the curriculum are published by Teaching Strategies for Early Childhood. Since it was first published the curriculum has got six editions and the current one is the 6th edition. One of the common aspects of the curriculum is that it integrates content learning by enabling the children to ask questions about the topic. It is through investigation that the children will understand the topic more and then come up with tough questions about the topic.
In the basis edition, there are studies at the beginning of the year, balls, buildings, trees, clothes and the three environmental management strategies that is reduce, re-use and recycle. For instance, The Balls Unit is made into five units where the children can explore more on what they are learning by asking questions such as, what are buildings.
