Research Paper Instructions:

Hi there,
Basically, this is a debate assignment, so I need a debate transcript but you can write it in as a research paper. The topic is "Couples should stay together for the sake of the children", it is not just a oral speech, the content should be ALL the peer-reviews journal article/book that to be in favour of the title "Couples should stay together for the sake of the children". So there are no need any personal thoughts or personal experience, all the content should be come from different literature review. Since my standpoint is "Couples should stay together for the sake of the children", so there is no consider or content that favour "Couples should not stay together for the sake of the children",
The paper should be list and find relevant articles from three aspect:
The structure should be:
1. state the standpoint that "Couples should stay together for the sake of the children". Next define and give briefly introduction of context, which means you need to address that there are many form of "parents" in the society, such as the larger extended family, or a family with more than two parents. But here we will focus on traditional/typical family component "nuclear family", "which include a mother, father and children living in the household"(half page). And introduce the debate will mainly focus on social-emotional and academic performance domain.
2. The advantages of how children are beneficial and grow up with the PRESENT of both father and mother.
(one and half page). The domain must include social-emotional and academic performance. There are should be multiple articles that support this perspective. Please use intext-citation as well, you can write sentence like ""In XXX's(what kinds' of&the background of study) study, they found that XXXX..."; In other XXX"s study also confirm that XXX". It is not just paraphrase the statements please also add a little bit detail, such as "X% of children demonstrate XXX".
3. The shortage for children whose parents are separate from two domain (must include emotional and academic). (one and half page). YOU can address the negative impact on children when there is an absence of any parents.
*Note, for the above two component, the advantage and shortage, please add at least one chart/pie chart or any form of research result you can just copy and paste it into the page and give the explanation of it , such as "this chart is from xxx's study, they investigate xxx, and as you can see, the chart demonstrate that...".
4. Rebuttal and conclusion, (half page), because the other side of the debate "Couples should not stay together for the sake of the children" might redefine and claim different context such as that children who are suffering fromquarrel, abuse or violence, it is better for children to have a separate parents(divorce). SO this part needs to readdress the Rebuttal and conclusion.
Lastly, the debate should be from educator's perspective and the writing style should be easily orally articulate for me to present.
I am also upload the rubric of the debate.
Stay safe and thank you let me know if you have any question:)

Couples Should Stay Together for the Sake of their Children

Introduction
As the issue of divorce becomes more conspicuous in modern culture, there is a significant impact on the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children of affected families. Therefore, this argument will be based on the standpoint that couples should stay together for their children's sake. There are different structures in which families exist. This structuring also influences the organization of parenthood in general. For instance, extended families go beyond the father, mother, and children's elements. In several cases, the extended families play a role in parenthood in that the children thrive quite normally, even in the absence of birth parents. However, to effectively demonstrate the validity of the argument, it is imperative to focus on the nuclear family, which consists of the father, mother, and children. The debate will incline more on the psychosocial and the academic of children in a nuclear family in relation to parenthood.
Merits of Living with Both Parents
As Musick and Meier (2010) posit, children who live with both parents, particularly the biological ones, tend to thrive better than the others who grow up in single parenthood or stepfamilies. These children living with both biological parents tend to create in their mind a picture of homogenous parenting where the mother and the father contribute to their growth. Thus, the children are less likely to be affected adversely in the socio-emotional and academic domains. Once a nuclear family is intact, there is a sense of feeling one's importance and role in the family's running. This recognition helps build well-being and contributes to a positive emotional state. Also, there is a feeling of confidence when living with both the parents, which assures someone that the immediate future is catered for even if that is not the case. Such confidence limits cases of stress and depression unless otherwise. In addition, in several nuclear families, both parents can provide the economic resources required by the children; hence there is limited blame to poverty as the source of emotional distress.
Living with both parents tends to produce consistent and better academic results comparatively. This begins right from early childhood in the preschool stage, where the child is more likely to acquire better cognitive skills that prepare them for the beginning of education. According to Jeynes (2000), research done out of 11 developed countries revealed that children living in stable families with both parents showed more excellent mathematics and science subjects scores. Also, the emotional situation is directly attached to the academic progress; thus, children living with both parents are in the best position to thrive academically because of the emotional security. There is an enhanced likelihood that children living with both parents will not engage in unprotected premarital sex, which ultimately leads to pregnancies and the contraction of sexually transmitted diseases. The results of this practice are commonly poor academic performance and school drop-out.
There is more parental time associated with a two-parental family than a single parent or a divo...
