Introduction
The most challenging task for an organization looking to expand in new directions is creating a culture that fosters creativity. A culture of innovation is when bold and novel things happen daily (Aksoy, 2017). Employee's energies and creativity are released as they see that design is imperative and encouraged. However, in many organizations, these wellsprings of innovation have gone off the rails. This is because many companies have not yet developed a strategy that enables creativity to flourish. Robust systems require proper planning, a measure that considers all the human and physical assets of an organization. Innovation and creativity are vital to a company's success, and both should be integrated into every area of operations. An organization with inventive employees stays ahead of the competition by adapting to market changes. Several factors can stifle creativity in a well-established business, chief among them is the success of the existing culture. This study explores some of the most leadership and management styles and frameworks that ensure innovation and creativity.
Company Choice and Its Products/Services
In this study, I choose to create a new and innovative company in the automotive industry. I will make a technology company specializing in clean energy products, particularly clean energy generators and storage products. My ultimate goal is to produce environmentally-friendly electric cars, unlike gasoline vehicles. It's apparent that the automotive future mainly lies in green energy, and I am here to ensure that my company will be part of it. The automotive industry is a highly competitive sector that demands a high level of creativity and innovativeness. As such, this company will be established on a solid organizational culture that fosters creativity. More so, effective leadership in all areas and proper recruitment methods will ensure the best brainpower to bring its mission to life.
Ideal Qualities and Characteristics of Employees
One of the significant complex experiences during recruiting is finding the most skilled employees. Often, the candidate either lacks specific skills or doesn't align with its culture and the core values that the organization represents. This company will seek to find individuals capable of transforming challenges into opportunities since they become significant assets during economic downturns. To achieve this, the company will have to develop a strategy of identifying innovative candidates' characteristics and behaviour and how to ensure they continuously embrace this aspect. The first characteristic that the ideal employees should have is proactiveness and strategic thinker. According to (Panagiotis et al., 2014), proactive personalities impact innovation in most enterprises. It involves creating, disseminating, and introducing fresh innovations while constantly seeking new techniques to improve their current situation.
