Susan Stryker expresses her feelings and experiences about being a transgender. She attained a conference that was an eye opener on how to talk about her gender. According to Stryker, the conference inspired her creativity in presenting a topic that was much on her mind. The discussions during the protest focused on how to connect the deep feelings stemming from transsexual experiences, particularly rage and marshal them into real political movements. Sonny Nordmarken also writes about her stealth experiences being a transgender. She hesitates telling her students that she is being stealth, but feels it is the right time to come out and talk about her state. She feels rather lucid but she is unease with the idea of letting her students know much about herself.
